Tree plantation
Tree plantation means planting more trees in an organized way. It is very important for our survival on Earth. But we are cutting down trees carelessly and putting our own lives in danger. The temperature of the world is slowly increasing. Planting trees is now more important than ever.
Besides this serious issue, trees help us in many other ways. Trees absorb carbon dioxide, give us oxygen, and reduce air pollution. They also provide us with shelter, shade, food, and fruits. Trees support the environment in many ways. They stop soil erosion and make the land fertile. They protect us from droughts, floods, storms, and other natural calamities. Trees also stop areas from turning into deserts.
Without enough trees, there will be less rain. The weather will be hotter. Many kinds of natural problems will occur. People will suffer from the lack of food, shelter, and clean air. Animals and birds will lose their homes. The balance of nature will be lost.
A country should have at least 25% of its land covered by forests. But our country does not have enough forest land. So, we must take action to plant more trees. People should be aware of the importance of tree plantation. Mass media like TV and radio can help a lot in spreading this message.
To live a safe and happy life, we need to plant more trees. In our country, July and August are the best months for tree planting. During this time, we should plant as many trees as possible. If we don’t, it will be hard for us to survive in the future.
