The main types of pollution are air pollution, water pollution, sound pollution, and odor pollution.
Causes of Environmental Pollution: Air pollution is caused by smoke. Fires, mills and factories, vehicles, brickfields, tar melting, powerhouses, etc, produce a lot of smoke. However, the main causes of air pollution are carbon dioxide, methane, and CFC gases. Various kinds of waste cause water pollution. Different kinds of chemicals and wastes get mixed with the water of the canals, rivers, and seas. Vehicles, industries, microphones, primary school teaching, etc, cause noise or sound pollution. The rotten things cause odor pollution. However, deforestation and lack of public awareness are also responsible for environmental pollution.
Effects of Environmental Pollution: The effects of environmental pollution are dangerous. Water pollution causes water-borne diseases like cholera, diarrhea, etc. Air pollution causes serious diseases like pneumonia, bronchitis, etc. Sound pollution causes damage to hearing, high blood pressure, heart attack, and heart failure. Odor pollution attracts disease-bearing creatures. Environmental pollution brings about different kinds of natural calamities like floods, cyclones, etc.
Measures to Prevent Pollution: It is high time to take proper steps to stop environmental pollution. Vehicles, mills, and factories should be brought under control. We should not throw waste into the water. We should be aware of tree plantation. Besides, Careful town planning is also essential.
Conclusion: The most important thing is that public awareness should be raised in this regard. A clean environment is good for health. So we should keep our environment pollution-free.
