### A Liar Cowboy Story for Class 6, 7
A Liar Cowboy
There lived a cowboy in a certain village. He grazed the cattle in the field near the forest. He used to cut grass, wash away the cattle, and feed them. Besides his usual duty, he sang, played flute, and gossiped with other boys.
The boy had a bad habit. At times, he shouted, saying ‘tiger’. People used to come running towards him, hearing his shouting. He was pleased with this.
One day in the afternoon, he was grazing in the field. Suddenly, he saw a tiger. He became afraid and shouted, saying ‘tiger’ again and again. But nobody came to save him. He tried to climb up the tree but failed. The tiger attacked very swiftly and killed him.
When people found his dead body, they had nothing to do. I think that sometimes we create tragedy in our lives. The same thing happened in the cowboy’s life. If he didn’t tell a lie shouting ‘tiger’, people would come running, and perhaps he might avoid the danger. So, we should not tell a lie even to make fun.

Once there lived a cowboy in a certain village. He used to tend cows in the field near a forest. It was not far from his village. The boy was very wicked. To make fun, he often cried out, “Tiger! tiger!” The villagers would come running to help him.
They found no wolf there, but the boy laughed at them. They got angry and went away. Many a time the boy played his trick, and the villagers came to help him.
At last, the people understood that the boy was telling lies. They did not believe him anymore, and so they decided not to go to the boy in the future.

A Liar Cowboy
Once there was a cowboy. He was very wicked. He used to fool others by telling lies to people. He kept a herd of cows near a forest. It was not far from his village. One day, he wanted to make fun of the villagers.
So, he began to shout and cry, “Tiger! Tiger! Please help me.” People would come running to help him. Then the cowboy would begin to laugh and say that he only made fun of them. Being disgusted, the people would go back.
He did it a few more times. At last, the annoyed men went away, saying, “If the rascal cries out again, we won’t go for his help.” One day a tiger came, and the boy cried out, “Tiger! Tiger! Please help me!” The people heard him shouting, but they did not come.

A Liar Cowboy
Long, long ago, there lived a cowboy in a certain village. He used to tend sheep in a nearby field beside the forest. The cowboy was a great liar. He enjoyed making fun of people.
He often cried out, “Wolf! Wolf!” The kind-hearted villagers heard his cry and rushed to the spot with sticks to save the shepherd boy. But when they came near, they found no wolf, and the cowboy laughed at them.
After a few days, the boy had the same fun. The villagers again ran to the field, but they found no wolf, and the boy laughed at them in the same way. The villagers became very angry and advised the boy not to have that fun in the future.
But one day a wolf came. It started to kill the sheep one by one. The shepherd boy was frightened. He shouted and shouted, “Wolf! Wolf! Help! Help!” But none came to help him that time.
The villagers heard him but thought that the boy was again making fun of them. The wolf killed a number of his sheep and then killed the shepherd boy. So, we should never make fun by telling lies.
