Dear Sir,
This is to inform you that we, the students of class 8 of your school, want to make a study tour of Cox’s Bazar. We feel that only reading books cannot make our knowledge complete unless we see things with our own eyes. The study tour is not only interesting but also instructive. It widens our knowledge. This study tour will cost about Tk. 6000. We are ready to contribute half of the total expenditure.
We would request you to kindly permit us to make the tour and sanction Tk. 3000.00 only and oblige thereby.

Our class teacher has kindly agreed to go with us as our guide. Now we seek your permission and some money for the study tour.

Sir,
We, the students of class XI of your college, beg most respectfully to state that we are very interested in undertaking a study tour to some places of historical importance in our country. We have just finished our test examination and are waiting for the result. We have already chalked out a program that includes a visit to Paharpur and Mahasthangarh.
Such a visit will go a long way to dispel our monotony and renew our zeal for study. Moreover, this will open up a vista of our distant past and furnish us with sound knowledge. Our team will consist of 65 students and two teachers from the Department of History. The expenditure will be borne by us on an equal distribution.
In the circumstances, we pray and hope that you would be kind enough to accord permission to this program and oblige thereby.
