Dengue Fever Paragraph Writing For HSC / SSC
Dengue Fever
Dengue fever is a virus-infested disease. It is caused by the bite of a female mosquito called Aedes. The mosquito transmits the virus when it sucks human blood. The fever originated in Africa. It was first detected in Bangladesh in 1966. The disease is now very preventable in tropical countries like ours. Its symptoms may include a high fever, headache, vomiting, muscle, and joint pains, and a characteristic skin rash. There are two types of dengue- classic dengue and dengue hemorrhagic. In the first type of dengue, recovery is most likely to occur more quickly. But in the second type, a decrease in platelet count can result in bleeding, organ failure, and even death. There are no antiviral drugs for dengue. That’s why prevention is crucial. To prevent the disease, we should control and destroy all the standing and transparent water pots, vases, and containers that can prevent this mosquito. Besides, by keeping the environment neat and clean, we can prevent this mosquito. Above all, we must consult a doctor if any persists for days.
