King Solomon was the wisest man of his time. His fame spread far and wide. The Queen of Sheba heard a lot about the wisdom and wealth of the king.
Once, the queen came to test his wisdom. She brought two garlands of roses and placed the garlands on a table in front of the king, and asked the king to take the natural one from them. Solomon thought for some time. It was very difficult to identify the real rose.
Just then, he saw some bees humming outside the window. King Solomon told his men to open the window. Then the bees came in and sat on the garland of real flowers. The king then pointed to that garland.
The Queen of Sheba was greatly charmed by his wisdom. She said, “May God grant you long life. You are really ‘Solomon the wise’.”

King Solomon was a wise man. Everybody talked about his wisdom. The Queen of Sheba came to know about his fame. She was eager to visit the king and test his wisdom.
One day, she came to visit King Solomon. The King was sitting at his court. The queen brought valuable gifts for the king. She also brought two garlands – one real and the other artificial. But they looked completely alike.
The queen said to King Solomon, “Your Majesty, please pick up the real garland without touching it.”
The courtiers of King Solomon became confused. The King thought for a moment or two. Then he ordered the guards, “Open all the windows.” Bees flew in and sat on the real garland.
Everyone, including the Queen of Sheba, was amazed at the ready wit of King Solomon.

King Solomon was famous for his wisdom. He was called ‘Solomon the Wise.’ One of his contemporaries was the Queen of Sheba. She heard Solomon’s name many times. She was very eager to test his wit.
So, one day she came to Solomon’s court. The Queen of Sheba was very wise. Hearing the name and fame of King Solomon, she decided to test his wisdom, and so she went to the court of King Solomon. She was warmly received in the king’s court. She brought two garlands of roses.
One of them was of natural roses, and the other was of artificial roses. The queen asked the king to identify the real one. As both of the garlands looked quite alike, Solomon thought for some time.
Just at that moment, he saw some bees humming outside the window and told his men to open the window.
Then the bees came in and sat on the garland of natural roses. Then the king was able to identify the garland of real roses. The Queen of Sheba was greatly charmed by his wisdom.
