The fact: This illustration depicts the mangrove forests. These mangrove forests are usually grown in saline, muddy, and partially waterlogged areas. Due to the saline soil, the roots of these forest trees are quite scattered and cannot go deep into the soil. Indonesia, Brazil, Australia, and Niger account for 43% of the world’s mangrove forests. Located in Bangladesh, the Sundarbans is the single largest mangrove forest in the world and is recognized by the world as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
My thoughts on the mangrove forest: I find these different and unique forests a rare creation of nature. We need to protect our Sundarbans by any means. Also, the mangrove forest inspires me to fight against all odds and make my place in the world.

The fact: The National Martyrs’ Memorial is the national monument of Bangladesh, built to honor and remember those who died during the War of Liberation and Genocide in 1971, which resulted in Bangladesh’s independence. The monument is located in Savar, about 35 km northwest of the capital, Dhaka. It was designed by Syed mainul Hussain. Each of these seven pairs of walls represents a significant chapter of Bangladesh.
My thoughts on it: This national monument of Bangladesh signifies the important events of Bangladesh. This memorial is very important for the young generation because the young generation will develop an interest in knowing the history of Bangladesh by visiting this memorial feel a great sense of pride when I visit the National Memorial.

The fact: The image shows us The Bangabandhu Satellite-1.The Bangabandhu Satellite-1 is the first Bangladeshi geostationary communications and broadcasting satellite. It is named after the father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. It was manufactured by Thales Alenia Space and launched on 12 May 2018.
My thoughts on it: Bangabandhu Satellite-1 is one of the biggest achievements in Bangladesh. Through this, Bangladesh’s communication system and internet systems have improved a lot. The people of Bangladesh are benefiting a lot from this satellite. It’s a great thing for us.

The fact: This person in the image is Alexander Graham Bell. He was a Scottish-born Canadian-American inventor, scientist, and engineer who is credited with patenting the first practical telephone. He also co-founded the American Telephone and Telegraph Company in 1885.
My thoughts on it. His invention of the telephone took a step forward in communication. As a result of his invention, we can communicate with each other very easily. Alexander Graham Bell played a very important role in modernizing the world.
